About Us

About our Program

Our Crime Stoppers Program was formed in 1981, originally called Boulder County Crime Stoppers. We have recently expanded to include North East corner of Colorado, and changed our name to Northern Colorado Crime Stoppers.

We now service more then 25 Law Enforcement agencies including the FBI, Homeland Security, Drug Enforcement Agency, ICE, Department of Wild Life and other agencies Worldwide!

Our Program operates as a non-profit 501(C)3 organization owned and operated by citizens, small businesses, corporations, and volunteers. Three essential elements have to be present  in a  successful Crime Stoppers program:  the Community, the Media and Law Enforcement Agencies.

There are now several methods to send your Tips Anonymously 24/7, Computer Website, Cell Phone, Text Messages, and a Telephone Hot Line. All encoded and encrypted, keeping you and your information Anonymous!

The Polar Plunge is coming! On 03/04/2017 the Weld County Sheriff’s Office will be participating in the Polar Plunge at Horsetooth Reservoir in Ft Collins to raise money for the Colorado Special Olympics. We are dedicating this plunge to Chuck Personius, who is the relative of one of our staff members here. In 2016 we dedicated our plane pull to Chuck. Sadly, Chuck passed away in January of this year.
